Is an elite group of Men's amateur soccer players selected from the almost 2000 members of the Santa Monica Adult Soccer League
SM SPORTING FC is also a 501 (c) (4),
public benefit corporation with the focus of promoting Santa Monica
Soccer in a positive and beneficial way to its community and those
beyond by raising awareness for worthwhile and charitable events,
through the beautiful game of soccer.

Santa Monica Sporting FC has been very busy and very successful.
In its first years, Santa Monica Sporting has won two league championship, five tournament championships, hosted a charity soccer match raising money for USA tornado victims and most recently culminating an with an excellent showcasing their high level of play, as Sporting competed very well against the Panamanian National Team in an international friendly on July 4, 2013 and then again and most recently on February 6, 2015, as they assisted the Panamanian National Team get ready for their February 8, 2015 matchup with the United States Mens National Team at Stub Hub in Los Angeles.

PANAMA vs Santa Monica Sporting FC
Panama utilized the match with SM Sporting in preparing for their big match against Mexico on July 7, 2013 in the 2013 CONCACAF GOLD CUP.
Panama went on to defeat Mexico by a score of 2-1 on July 7, 2013. This was Panama's first time ever, beating Mexico. Then Panama went onto the finals of the CONCACAF Championship to lose to the USA by a score of 1-0.

The Charity Match For USA Tornado Victims
Santa Monica Sporting organized a charity match to raise money for the 2011 USA Midwest Tornado victims.
On June 25, 2011, the Santa Monica Sporting players, along with some local and international athletes and celebrities came out to support the charity match.
Tom Huddlestone from the Hotspurs in the English Premier League, Joe Max Moore, 3 time USA World Cup Soccer Player, Jimmy Jean Louis, actor and soccer player, and Fox Soccer Broadcaster, Nick Webster, joined the event to show their support.

SPORTING EARNS A PERFECT AND UNDEFEATED RECORD OF 20-0-0
SM SPORTING FC completed its first season of play together as a team playing in the SBPSL (South Bay Peninsula Soccer League, www.sbpsl.com) Premier Division. SM SPORTING'S first season was extremely successful by defeating all teams and winning the Premier League Championship with a perfect and undefeated record of 18 wins - 0 losses - 0 ties. Then SPORTING competed in the Premier Cup Tournament, winning that championship as well.
IT HAS HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE:
The SBPSL has been in existence since 1972 and no team in its 39 year history, has ever won the Premier Division with a perfect AND undefeated record, until SPORTING did in 2011!
